The Limes is a family owned guest house near Penrith offering beautiful views over the Eamont river valley and situated four miles from Ullswater. We are ideal for both overnight stopovers and longer stays being set just a short drive from the M6 junction 40/ A66 Trans Pennine trunk road crossing. Our late Victorian 19th Century property which retains plenty of original features including the stair case & marble fireplaces was refurbished in 2012.
We offers a choice of Premium, standard double & twin rooms. Premium room offer a seating area and two of our rooms can be interlocked together to create a family suite for up to five people. A cot can also be provided on request.
All double rooms (premium and standard) have king sized beds. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, a TV, room controlled heating and free WiFi
All our rates include a delicious locally sourced breakfast made from traditional Cumberland sausages and we also serve lighter options including toast with home made jam or marmalade.
We do not serve evening meals but guests are welcome to use the dining room in the evenings and there are guest fridge & microwave facilities.
Free wifi service is available at our guest house. To the exterior, there is plenty of private parking and a large garden where guests can relax. We offer secure cycle storage

From Junction 40 of the M6 motorway take the A66 westbound (signposted 'Keswick & North Lakes') after half a mile turn left immediately before the Little Chef (small signpost says 'Redhills'). Follow our signs for quarter of a mile, we are on the right hand side of the road. Parking is within the garden to the front of the guesthouse.
