Exit the M6 at junction 40 Penrith and take the A66 heading towards Keswick. Continue for approximately 18 miles. Don't exit the A66 to enter Keswick centre. At the roundabout take the third exit onto the A591 heading towards Carlisle for around 8 miles.
At the crossroads with the Castle Inn Hotel take a right heading towards Uldale, Caldbeck and Ireby.
Continue along this minor road which has a steady incline for around 2 miles. Continue up a sharp uphill left hand bend and take a right at the house on the right where you will see a sign for Overwater Hall in the wall.
The hotel entrance is around 400 yards on the right side.
