We have a total of seven bedrooms, all named after the crags of the Scafell Range. Single, double and twin bedrooms are available, and all include TVs and a selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Biscuits are included, so you can settle down with a drink and snack and enjoy your favourite shows in the evening. A radio alarm clock will wake you in time for breakfast, and each room includes a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. Standard and en-suite rooms are available, with three bedrooms (two singles and a double) sharing the main house bathroom.
Our breakfast room enjoys impressive mountain views, so you can prepare for what you'll face if you're about to go walking. Hearty breakfasts use fresh, homemade or, locally sourced and Fairtrade produce wherever possible, and with advance notice we'll cater to all special diets. Options include fresh juices, cereals, yoghurt and fruit salad, delicious full English breakfasts with Cumberland sausage or a choice of vegetarian sausages, and home-made breads accompanied by preserves. Our breads include white, wholemeal and multi-grain, as well as more exotic flavours including maple syrup and pecan, honey and sunflower seed and banana and muesli.
