A licensed guest house in the heart of the Newlands Valley, Littletown Farm is a stunning farmhouse B&B at the foot of the popular Catbells walk. The guest house features amongst The Guardian's '10 of the best B&Bs and hotels in the Lake District' and in The Telegraph's pick of 'The best British farm stays'.
Most of our guest rooms are located upstairs in what was originally the hay store. Presented to a high standard and each with their own unique style, rooms have spectacular views towards Skiddaw or Causey Pike.
All rooms have ensuite facilities, hairdryers, tea trays, free WiFi internet access and a selection of magazines and books. Room types include super king-size double, twin, standard double and a family room. A ground floor room is also available either as a twin or super king-size double room.
Hosts Sarah and Rob are passionate about cooking and locally sourced produce - they grow many of their ingredients themselves. A traditional farmhouse breakfast is served daily from 8am to 9.15am, featuring Cumberland sausage, English Bacon and our own free range eggs. A licensed bar and spacious dining room are onsite.
Packed lunches are available on request.
During the summer season and busy times the guest house opens a tea room/ cafe service serving delicious homemade cakes and a selection of English Lakes Ice Cream of Kendal.
Homecooked meals can be prepared for large parties - call Sarah direct to discuss your needs.
