Situated within six acres of beautiful grounds, Moorlands is a late 19th Century former gentleman's residence perfect for relaxing breaks to Exmoor National Park.
Five individually styled ensuite guest rooms including a two bedroom family suite and is available from Easter until November.
Two of our guest rooms are located on the ground floor and may be suitable for those with limited mobility. We also have double room with an ensuite bathroom or shower, a ensuite single room and the two bedroom family suite has an ensuite shower room.
All guest rooms have a flat screen TV, DVD player, alarm clock, tea/ coffee making facilities and a hair dryer. BT Open Zone internet is also available at our Bed and Breakfast.
Please note we do not accept children under five years old.
All rates are inclusive of an excellent full English breakfast with lighter options if required.
Guests can relax in our licensed residents lounge or in our small library where a Victorian open fire lit in the cooler months.
Check in time is between 2pm and 9pm and please vacate your room by 11am on your departure day.
Please note we do not accept dogs in our bed and breakfast accommodation but do have two self contained apartments at Moorlands where dogs are accepted. Sleeping either two or three people, our apartments are let for a minimum of three days and guests can book breakfasts if required according to availability. Contact us for further details.
We are situated just four miles from Lynton and Lynmouth or explore attractions closer to us including the narrow gauge railway at Woody Bay which can be found just a short stroll through our gardens. For the more active there is horse riding, golf, tennis and sea fishing all within easy access.

From the M5 take the A361 towards Barnstaple. Just past South Molton take the A399 towards Ilfracombe, Combe Martin. At Blackmoor gate turn right onto the A39 to Lynton and Lynmouth. Moorlands is 4 miles on the left just past the Woody Bay station From Lynton Take the A39 towards Barnstaple. At Barbrook turn right up the hill. Moorlands is 2 miles on the right just past the turning for Woody Bay.
