Superbly presented and aptly named after the magnificent fells that surround the guest house, our three spacious and stylish en-suite rooms each have their own unique design and stunning fell views. All rooms have free WiFi, full ensuite bathrooms with baths and showers, complimentary toiletries, comfortable 'Sleepsaver' Memory Mattresses, bed linen and towels, flatscreen colour TVs, well stocked hospitality trays with tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a range of magazines.
A varied breakfast menu including Full English breakfasts, American pancakes and a range of lighter options are served in our beautifully presented dining area on the ground floor. A buffet of cold options are also available and we'll happily cater for special dietary requirements given prior notice. Food is locally sourced whenever possible.
Free parking and secure bike storage are available onsite, and free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout. Guests are welcome to relax in the garden area with seating and beautiful views of the village and surrounding countryside.

We are only a few minutes' stroll from Ambleside centre with its superb selection of quirky independent shops, fine restaurants and inns. Lake Windermere and boat trips from Waterhead Pier are only 10 minutes' walk away.
Ambleside is the perfect base from which to walk and tour the Lake District National Park. Wordsworth's two historic homes are nearby and the popular Armitt Museum in Ambleside centre with exhibits on Beatrix Potter is within easy walking distance.
From the South - Leave the M6 at Junction 36 and follow the A591 until you reach Ambleside. At Waterhead there are some traffic lights and the road forks. Take the right fork along Lake Road to pass Hayes Garden Centre. Opposite a garage, the one-way system diverts you left into Wansfell Road. Stay in the right hand lane and turn right at the T-junction into Rothay Road. Stay in the right hand lane and where the road divides, turn right into Kelsick Road and immediately right again to arrive at the rear of Amboseli Lodge where you will find free parking.
From the North - Leave the M6 at Junction 40 and follow the A66 to Keswick and then the A591 to Ambleside. Follow the one-way system through the centre of Ambleside. At the end of the shopping area, the Lake Road expands into two lanes. Move to the right hand lane and turn right opposite a garage into Wansfell Road. Stay in the right hand lane and turn right at the T-junction into Rothay Road. Stay in the right hand lane and where the road divides, turn right into Kelsick Road and immediately right again to arrive at the rear of Amboseli Lodge where you will find free parking.
