Rydal Water is very popular with tourists because of its connections with Wordsworth. There are steps leading up from the western end of the lake to 'Wordsworth Seat', and this was Wordsworth's favourite viewpoint of the lakes. You can also explore Rydal Cave, which is a large cavern in a hill above the lake. The surrounding areas are a haven for walkers, climbers and outdoor enthusiasts, and the unforgettable scenery will provide you with many lasting memories.
