Around and About

Our holiday caravans are idyllically situated within the Duke of Devonshire's Bolton Abbey Estate, within easy reach of pretty market town Skipton, home to a famous castle and best farmers' markets.

We are surrounded by some fabulous walking country and we have a selection of books available for everyone from hardened walkers to child-friendly walks. You can also take the bus and then walk. It is a good idea to use an Ordnance Survey map for long walks over the moors; you can borrow these from your local library.

Take the A59 to Bolton Abbey then the B6160 in the direction of Burnsall and Appletreewick. Take the right hand turn off at Barden Tower (signposted Appletreewick), go over the single track bridge, and carry straight on until you begin to drop down the hill, then take the lane on the right with the 'phone box at the end. We are thefirst farm on the left.
