Airebroc is a large self catering croft house set in one of the Outer Hebrides' most scenic spots, the small hamlet of Cradlastadh (Crowlista). The house lies at the end of a road which runs along the northwest side of Uig Sands, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Outer Hebrides.
Crowlista enjoys a remote location, well away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, yet there is an excellent local shop selling groceries about a mile away. The shop is in Timsgarry, which is also home to a community centre with museum, where ceilidh dances and dinners are held at which visitors are warmly welcomed.
Downstairs we have three rooms overlooking the bay: a living room with open fireplace, Freeview TV, DVD player, hi-fi with iPod dock; a study with piano, broadband internet and desk; a sun room with seating for eight.
There is a large well-equipped kitchen with Stanley cooker, microwave, gas hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The kitchen has a view towards the Atlantic at the back of the house. There is an area to the front of the house suitable for barbecues, with a bench which overlooks the bay.
Airebroc sleeps at least seven. There are two double bedrooms, a twin and a single room together with a main bathroom.

Sailing has become increasingly popular and boats can be launched from slipways at Miabhaig or Valtos. Other activities to be found include boat trips, cycling, climbing, diving, fishing, kayaking, surfing, walking and karting. There are three restaurants to be found within a five mile radius, one of which can be reached in a ten minute walk across the beach at low tide.
The Uig area has some of the most beautiful spots in the whole of the Western Isles. The two main beaches are Reef in Valtos and Uig Sands, but there are others to explore as well. The view from the front of the house looks over Uig Sands to the mountains beyond, and at the back the view includes Mangursta and the open Atlantic. Access to Uig Sands is just a 200 metres away.
