About this Holiday Cottage

Burry Farm Cottage attached to our 200 year old farmhouse is finished to a high standard full of character and charm with stone walls and beams. Set in the heart of West Gower we are only 10 mins away from the spectacular Gower Coast. Burry is a small, peaceful hamlet on the outskirts of Reynoldston bordering Cefn Bryn and is an ideal base from which to explore the beauty of the whole peninsular.

  • Our beautiful cottage has a lounge, kitchen and two bedrooms that will sleep six people.
  • The lounge has a stone wall and exposed beams and feels very rustic. Two leather sofas, TV with Freeview and DVD player and a new dimplex stove make it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day exploring the surrounding area.
  • A newly fitted kitchen is fully equipped with a large dining table, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, electric oven, hob and microwave.
  • Our cottage is very child friendly with a cot, highchair, baby bath and 2 stair gates provided free of charge.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

  • The upstairs level of our farm cottage houses two bedrooms which sleep up to six people.
  • Our family room is extremely spacious with a stone wall and three windows make it light and airy. It has a double and two single beds and a new large cot. There is a fitted wardrobe with shelves and two bedside tables with lamps.
  • The second bedroom has a comfortable double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and lamp. It is west facing with views over our lovely garden and the surrounding fields.
  • The shower room has a large step-in quadrant with instant electric shower, toilet and hand basin. We provide towels for your convenience. There is also a handy downstairs toilet.

Outside there is a walled patio garden with table and chairs ideal to sit and have a cup of tea or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

The cottage is surrounded by 3/4 acre of garden and during the summer it resembles an allotment with a vast assortment of fruit, vegetables and flowers.   Produce is for sale at the farm gate.

Other Things to Note

Pets:  Sadly we no longer have any cats or dogs of our own on our farm so we do welcome pets. As we are adjoining fields with sheep and cattle dogs must be on a lead at all times and not left unattended in the cottage unless in a cage. Nearby is a quiet country lane perfect for walking your dog and nearly all Gower beaches are dog friendly. There are no carpets only wood and tiled floors easy to keep clean.

We have off road parking.

Burry Farm cottage is within walking distance of Fairy Hill 5* restaurant, why not book an extra special meal! The King Arthur voted Swansea & Gower's Best pub is 5 mins by car.

Please take a few minutes to read our Visitor's Comments in the photo gallery, many guests have returned.
