The Old Chapel was originally built as a Baptist Church around 1836. It has been carefully restored and updated to provide quiet and relaxing Bed & Breakfast accommodation. The Old Chapel is situated opposite the owners’ house on the other side of the courtyard, allowing you complete freedom and independence. The Lodge is situated alongside of the house and is totally private and independent with its own front patio. The Old Chapel is in a quiet lane on the edge of Sway village which has its own shops, post office, and 2 excellent pubs. With the New Forest on your doorstep, you can expect to see ponies and donkeys grazing a few yards away.
We offer a choice of 3 non-smoking bedrooms with off-street parking. They have modern en-suite bathrooms, and TV. They share a washing machine/ drier, iron and ironing board. Dogs are generally welcome – please enquire when booking. Wi-Fi internet access is available. The Chapel Room is a large and luxurious bed/ sitting room sleeping up to 4 people. A super king size double bed can be split into a twin on request, and a comfy sofa converts to a bed. A folding bed for younger children is also available. We can provide a baby's cot on request. The high ceiling and huge decorated glass window make this a distinctive and unique place to stay. A separate kitchenette has a mini-cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. The en suite bathroom is large; it includes a bath with a shower.
The Green Room is perfect for couples who just like doing their own thing. It is a light and airy double with stripped floors and half-lined timber walls. It has a mini kitchen which provides a fridge, toaster, kettle and a microwave. The en suite includes a bath and a walk in shower. The Lodge is a large double height room with a king size double bed that can be split into a twin on request, an en-suite shower room, a separate kitchenette which includes a small oven, microwave, hob, fridge dishwasher, kettle and toaster, a dining table and chairs.
