Norton Farm offers peaceful rural self-catering cottage accommodation located within the South Downs National Park, close to the seaside town of Seaford in Sussex. We have two properties both sleeping 4 including a cottage with one double and one twin bedroom and a single storey barn conversion with a double and single bedroom, plus a sofa bed in the lounge.
Norton Farm is a 1300 acre working farm, home to a herd of South Devon cattle and sheep. The cottage is ideal for families, and a highchair and travel cot are available for guests to use. Our single storey barn is ideal for less mobile guests with wheelchair access. Accommodation is ideally situated for exploring the South Downs, the Seven Sisters Country Park, Beachy Head, Rye, Hastings and the large seaside centres of Brighton and Eastbourne.
The cottage is semi-detached with living space across two floors. Two bedrooms include one double room and a twin bedroom, both located on the first floor. The ground floor contains a lounge with an open fire (wood is supplied for guest use), a kitchen/diner with cooker, fridge, microwave and washer/drier and a bathroom with a separate toilet. The cottage has a small enclosed garden with garden furniture and a washing line. A highchair and travel cot are available.
The Old Parlour is a single storey barn conversion with wheelchair access and underfloor heating. Two bedrooms located off the lounge include one double and one single bedroom. A sofa bed is available in the living room offering an extra bed space. The main entrance leads into the lounge/diner and a fitted kitchen with a washing machine, an electric oven, a fridge with an ice box and a microwave. The property has a wet room with a shower, wash basin and a w.c. Parking for 2 cars is available along with a seating area containing a washing line and garden furniture. A highchair and travel cot are available if required.
Three day short breaks are available (not during peak times) - Sat - Wed and Wed - Sat. Weekly bookings are Saturday - Saturday.
Norton Farm is in an excellent location to explore the South coast. The town of Seaford is a short distance away. Various historic towns including Lewes, Hastings, Battle and Rye are located within a short distance away. The bustling seaside city of Brighton is also only a short journey away. For walkers, the South Downs, Seven Sisters Country Park and Beachy Head are all nearby. If you want to explore further afield, the cottage is also located just two miles away from the ferry to Dieppe in France.
