About The Royal Oak Hotel

A classic 18th century coaching inn just 500 metres from Sevenoaks town centre, The Royal Oak Hotel offers luxury accommodation, function space, and includes a restaurant and bar.  Free parking is available onsite, and we are only a few minutes' drive from the M23 and M25 motorways.  The hotel has a rich history - Queen Victoria is thought to have stayed here once whilst on a visit to nearby Knole House which is just opposite. Central London is a mere 32 minutes away by rail.  Intimate parties and gatherings are welcome - the hotel has a separate area in the restaurant which can accommodate parties of up to 25 guests. Two meeting spaces are also available.


Rooms are all individually styled and come in a variety of configurations including single, double, twin, executive double and executive suites.  All rooms have modern en-suite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries and central heating, a flat-screen TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities and an alarm clock.

Breakfast/ Restaurant

A Full English or Continental style breakfast is available, and special requirements are happily catered for by prior arrangement. Breakfast is self-service buffet style.  Enjoy a delicious range of starters, mains and desserts on our restaurant menu.  A light bites bar menu is also served.

Meeting Rooms/ Private Dining

  • Sackville Room - boardroom style conference room holding up to 12 delegates. Ground floor location with easy access.  Free WiFi and parking.  Flip chart and LCD projector inclusive in room hire.
  • Knole Room - small meeting room for 4 people. Perfect for interviews and seminars. Free WiFi and free parking included.
  • Full day and half day room hire available with both meeting rooms. Sandwiches/ buffet selection on request.  Tea and coffee (charged per delegate). 
  • Private dining space available separately in the restaurant area - ideal for functions of up to 25 people.
