The Garden Room - an exquisitely presented spacious ground floor room with a king size double bed, stylish chairs and wonderful views over the garden and Alkham Valley. The luxury ensuite bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower.
The Wisteria Room - a ground floor room with a splendid ensuite bathroom containing a Victorian style slipper bath and shower. The super king size bed is made up with fine Egyptian cotton bed linen, a luxurious throw and gorgeous cushions. Comfortable chairs are also provided and this room enjoys the early morning sun and birdsong. Wisteria can be configured as a twin or as a super king-size double.
The Badger Room - a beautiful first floor guest room with exposed beams, a comfortable sofa and stunning views over the valley below. The ensuite has a large shower and the super king-size double bed can be made up as two singles if preferred.
The Pheasant Room - our latest addition at Alkham Court Farmhouse, this room has been luxuriously furnished in cream and blue and has a super king-size/ set of twin beds. The stylish ensuite has a large granite sink and stunning walk in shower.
A tasty farmhouse breakfast, freshly prepared and cooked to order, is served in The Oak Room with exposed beams made from Green Oak by a local craftsman and fabulous views through a large bay window across the Alkham Valley and Kent Downs. The dining room also has a comfortable sitting area with a relaxing sofa and cosy wood burner, information leaflets, maps, books, a daily newspaper, magazines and board games.

Lunch time or evening snacks including delicious homemade soup and warm crusty bread, as well as freshly prepared packed lunches are all available for a small additional charge. Tea and cakes are served on arrival.
Three guest rooms are located on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible. One has a walk in shower with disabled parking right outside. There is also a ramp for easy access.
FROM THE FERRIES:
On leaving the Port of Dover follow signs to LONDON M20. After the last roundabout continue along the A20 (M20) towards London, then take the second exit (Canterbury/Folkestone to A260) and at the roundabout (distance from docks 6 miles (10km) follow signs to Alkham. After 2 miles (3km) Meggett Lane is second on the right and Alkham Court is on the right just before the top of the hill.
FROM M20 LONDON/EUROTUNNEL:
Follow signs towards Dover past Junction 13 where the M20 joins A20, drive through the tunnels and then immediate exit direction A260 Canterbury/Folkestone. Turn left at roundabout, back over the motorway, then turn left again following signs to Alkham. Proceed down the Alkham Valley road for approximately 2 miles (3km), turn right into Meggett Lane and Alkham Court is on the right just before the top of the hill.
Follow signs for Dover. When you reach a roundabout with McDonalds on your left, take the fourth exit (Dover North/River and Temple Ewell). At the next roundabout take the second exit (River, Temple Ewell) then after 100 metres turn left to Alkham. Go through the village of Alkham then turn left after the garden centre into Meggett Lane and Alkham Court is on the right before the top of the hill.
