Some people aren't suited to camping. It's not always fun to sleep under the stars, especially on colder nights, and so at the Upwood Holiday Park we offer the perfect solution. You can still enjoy a back-to-basics holiday, but with one of our ten camping pods you'll be sheltered and warm for your holiday or short break.
They are warm, insulated and have open-plan rooms that let you enjoy the experience of camping without the negatives that usually come with it. Each pod comes with heating and light so you're not left in the cold and at the mercy of daylight hours, and so that your phone won't power down and your hair can be straightened they all include one electric socket.
A small wooden decked area is suitable for outdoor cooking, and you simply provide everything you'd usually bring when camping.
If a sleeping bag isn't enough, we're able to offer camp beds for hire.
We have two sizes of pods, sleeping three adults (or a family of four), or four adults (or a family of five), and have shared on-site laundry and toilet facilities. We provide space to park on site, and you can book a pod by calling us today.
On-site facilities include a licensed bar serving meals and drinks and offering live entertainment on Saturdays (subject to seasonal opening). We have a communal WiFi connection, a games room with pool tables and arcade machines and lovely parkland walks. There are indoor and outdoor play areas for the kids, and we have an on-site shop selling all the essentials for your camping holiday.
We are close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park and only one mile from the Bronte village of Haworth and the Worth Valley Steam Railway
