Welcome to Bower Farm House Bed and Breakfast in Stelling Minnis. Situated in the beautiful Kent Downs just south of Canterbury, our 17th century farmhouse offers a peaceful base for leisure stays or travellers to and from the Continent. The Channel Tunnel, Dover, Ashford and Folkestone are all just a short drive away and we are also ideal for walkers/ cyclists.
Our twin bedroom is 300 hundred years old and our double bedroom 150 years old. Both have been ceilings, traditional furnishings, free toiletries, radio alarm clock, a hospitality tray and a hair dryer.
An excellent cooked breakfast is served in our 300 year old dining room each morning. This includes Fairtrade tea/ coffee, bread which has been baked in house and free range eggs.
A high chair can be provided for children. We are pet friendly by prior arrangement. Special diets can be catered for by arrangement.
Families are welcome with babies staying free of charge. We also offer reduced rates for under 12's. We are open throughout the year except Christmas.
Bower Farm House is situated in the midst of Stelling Minnis Common between the villages of Stelling Minnis and Bossingham.Canterbury is approximately 7 miles away.
The B2068 joins the M20 at junction 11 near Hythe and leaves Canterbury by the county cricket ground and main hospitals.
There is no direct access to the B2068 from the A2 Canterbury By-pass.
The last 200 yards are on a stone track, there is a sign where this leaves the Bossingham Road.
