Built in 1503, The Sun Hotel in Canterbury was made famous by Charles Dickens and offers a superb base for a short break to this historic city. The famous Cathedral is a short walk away and we are also located close to the Marlowe Theatre.
Many of our guest rooms have romantic four poster beds and beautiful period features in keeping with the age of the property. They are also equipped with storage facilities, a TV, hair dryer and tea/ coffee making facilities. The Cathedral Suite can sleep up to three people and the Marlowe Suite is suitable for up to four. The Sun Room has a grand four poster bed and a luxurious spa bath complete with underwater lights.
A choice of either a cooked or continental breakfast is provided. Guests can also enjoy a range of other meals and snacks in our licensed tearooms along with one of our delicious cream teas.
Cots and high chairs can be provided for children.
