The Heritage Bed and Breakfast is located just outside Weymouth in the small town of Chickerell. There’s easy access to Dorchester, the Jurassic Coast and many other West Dorset attractions. The house itself dates back to 1769 and it’s one of the oldest in the area. Walls may not be the straightest and floors won’t always be level but that’s just part of the charm. A great deal of renovation has been done to ensure guests have the most comfortable and stylish accommodation during their stay.
Each of the four rooms at The Heritage B&B is en-suite with a basin, toilet and bath with shower over. They feature a wall-mounted flat screen Freeview TV with DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Egyptian cotton sheets, goose down pillows and toiletries courtesy of The White Company ensure a comfortable night’s rest. Three of the four bedrooms (Fleet, Chesil and Hardy) are doubles with a king size bed. Nothe is the fourth room and it’s a twin room with two single beds.
Breakfast is served in the guest dining room and there’s a choice of: cereal, fresh fruit, a full English (or vegetarian), fruit juice, tea and coffee. For dining out, The Turks Head Inn is conveniently located next door and this traditional village pub serves a carvery every day of the week.
