Overlooking the famous Chesil beach, one of the most beautiful parts of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, Gorselands Caravan Park is a relaxing destination for the whole family. Our six acre site is built into the valley and has panoramic views of Lyme Bay. While the park is tranquil and incredibly relaxing, many attractions and places of interest are within easy reach. It’s a short walk to the beach or the beautiful meadows along Fisherman’s Walk. We’re pet friendly and unlike most other parks we don’t charge a fee to have them stay. Wi-Fi is widely available on site for a small fee.
Gorselands has five categories of caravans to choose from: A6+, A6, A4+, A4 and Chesil and they sleep from four to six people. A6+ is 12ft wide and has front row position while Chesil is our more compact at 10ft wide with two bedrooms; we guarantee there’s a model to suit everyone. All of our caravans have a fully fitted kitchen with gas cooking facilities, fridge, microwave, Freeview TV and DVD player in the open plan lounge and heating in the double bedroom.
Duvets and pillows are provided for you but you’ll need to bring your own duvet covers, sheets, pillow cases and towels. On-site parking is available and we have a small shop which opens daily and a laundrette for your convenience.
Eating out: There are lots of excellent pubs and inns in the nearby area, the closest being the Bull Inn, 100 metres down the road. The Manor Hotel and the Crown at Puncknowle are great stops if you're walking inland.
Places of interest: Chesil Beach, the World Heritage Coastline, Abbotsbury, the Tithe Barn Houses, Weymouth and Lyme Regis are all accessible by bus, car on or foot.
Short breaks available Monday-Friday or Friday-Monday, please contact us for availability.
