Recently refurbished to a very high standard, Rose Cottage is situated high on the side of the hill overlooking Lulworth Cove, enjoying stunning views of the sea and surrounding hills. This Grade II Listed thatched cottage dates back to the mid 18th Century. Rose Cottage provides the perfect getaway for individuals, couples of all ages, families or groups of friends. We are particularly children and pet friendly.
The Jurassic Coast is a great area in which to pursue all manner of outdoor activities such as Bird Watching, Butterflies, Geology, Thomas Hardy and Local History, Cycling, Sailing, Diving, Fishing even Classic Car enthusiasts have found their way here. Rose Cottage makes the ideal base.

The cottage has five bedrooms, two doubles with ensuite showers, a double with sea views, a twin and a single which can be used as a child`s twin with pull out bed. These three rooms share a large family bathroom with bath and shower.

Mid-week and off-season breaks are available at reduced rates between November and March. Small groups can enjoy reduced rates if we have the space. If you take 5 nights or more between the May Bank Holidays the price will drop to £150 per night. A great bargain!

Behind the cottage a beautiful and secluded garden rises steeply with views of the sea and surrounding hills. You can walk from the garden on a woodland walk up onto Bindon Hill with stunning views down into Lulworth Cove itself. The hills are abundant with wild flowers in spring and summer and butterflies too. We are the perfect venue for exploring the World Heritage Site that is our Jurassic Coast. If you want a combination of seaside and countryside there is nowhere better to spend a holiday.
From London take the M3, M27 then from Ringwood the A31 to Bere Regis. South to Wool, cross the A352 and take B3071 to West Lulworth. Drive right through the village of West Lulworth direction Lulworth Cove. 200yds on left find high slip road between houses and parked cars parallel with main road but above it. Rose Cottage is the last cottage on this slip road before you arrive at the Cromwell House Hotel and its Car Park. Parking is in the lay-by opposite the cottage.
