Situated in a peaceful location adjacent to Pannett Park, Broomfield House is an elegant period property ideal for groups or larger families visiting the historic town of Whitby. The house is situated close to the train station and set a short walk from the harbour and beach. The property is available for both weekly stays and short breaks over the winter period only.
The property is well equipped for a self catering break with a dishwasher, double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge and small freezer all provided in the kitchen. The dining room can seat up to eight people and the spacious lounge has a sash and bay window overlooking Pannett Park. Furnishings include three sofas and there is a large screen TV with digital service, a DVD player plus a range of board games, xbox 360, games and DVDs.
The bedrooms at Broomfield House include a master double with super king-size bed which boasts wonderful views over Pannett Park. There is also an ensuite bathroom with overhead rainfall shower. Other bedrooms include a double room with ensuite walk in shower, a double with bathroom directly opposite and a final double bedroom with extra sofa bed and ensuite shower. The family bathroom has a feature roll top bath and shower attachment. Each bedroom is well equipped with a fridge, digital satellite TV, DVD player, ironing facilities, tea/ coffee making supplies and a hair dryer.
Broomfield House is offered as a self catering let over the winter period only. Three and four night short breaks may be available except over the Christmas/ New Year period. Reduced rates are available for groups of four people. Prices start from £12 per person per night. Bed and breakfast accommodation is offered at other times of the year. From Teeside follow the A171 (moor road) into Whitby follow the signs for the railway station onto Bagdale. Broomfield House is directly opposite Pannett park just after the roundabout.
From Scarborough follow the A171 into Whitby cross over the high level bridge, go straight over the cross roads and onto Bagdale then follow the directions above.
From Pickering follow the A169 towards Whitby, then follow the signs for Whitby, turning right into town onto the A171. Follow the signs for the railway station onto Bagdale. Broomfield House is directly opposite Pannett park just after the roundabout.
For All Routes. On arriving at Broomfield House, we suggest that you drive past us and into town, go round the roundabout just beyond the railway station, so that when you pull up outside us you are with the flow of traffic. If you put your hazard lights on for a couple of minutes, we will take your bags and suggest some parking spaces for you.
