Arden Cottage Bed and Breakfast offers comfortable and pleasant accommodation for those wishing to explore the delights of Somerset. This picture postcard thatched cottage retains many original period features such as inglenook fireplace, solid oak/slate floors and exposed beams. we warmly welcome you on arrival with tea and home-made cake, helping you to relax and unwind after your journey.
All our bedrooms are full of character and charm with generous hospitality trays, hair dryer and toiletries.
Ensuite Double/Twin. This pretty room with en-suite shower can be set-up as either a double or twin bedded room.
The Family Suite are two adjacent rooms which combine to provide excellent family accommodation, one has a super king-size mahogany sleigh bed and the other is a single room next door (we never let these rooms at the same time to guests who do not know one another!). We have a slatted deluxe single guest bed available to enable us to accommodate 2 children in the single bedroom. These rooms are situated off a short corridor and a door at the end of the makes this a lovely private area for families, friends or guests with dog(s).
Super Kingsize bedroom where you can enjoy sleeping in the beautiful mahogany 6' 6" sleigh bed with its crisp linen and feather cushions. The room which is full of character with its beams, original oak floorboards and stained glass windows.
The Single bedroom is a delightful sunny room in the morning, full of character with a comfortable 3ft single bed. Guests have exclusive use of the shower room when booking either the single or kingsize rooms. It has a power shower and we provide complimentary toiletries.
When you book either the single room or super-king size bedroom you get sole use of the shower room. We do not let either of the other rooms during your stay. We now have a floor plan on our website so making it easier for you select your accommodation.

We serve a mouthwatering full English breakfast each morning and you can dine in either the dining room or in fairer weather on the patio which overlooks the garden. For those who prefer a lighter alternative you can choose from delicious fruit smoothies, home made granola, fresh fruit salad and yoghurt. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know when booking.
We have a comfortable guest lounge with TV/DVD where you can relax and keep abreast of your favourite programmes. You can park your car off the road in our gated parking area.
Jane is qualified in the Bowen Technique and is a Shibashi Tai Chi Instructor. You can book any treatments, at an additional cost, during your stay to ensure you go home feeling completely relaxed.
Here are Arden Cottage we pride ourselves on looking after the health, happiness and welfare of the dogs that come to stay with us. We like them to relax, chill out and have fun!
Your dog(s) are allowed in the bedrooms, (but NOT on the bed or furniture). We provide water, doggie treats, towels for muddy paws and poo bags if you've forgotten them. We live right opposite a great little park, where you can take your dog for an early morning walk and are just a short walk away from a great little pub where dogs are allowed if you require an evening meal.
Williton embraces the fairest of the West Countries magnificent inland and coastal scenery, picturesque unspoiled villages make it ideally situated for the tourist, walker, angler, golfer or artist. We are 1.5 miles from the sea and about 2.5 miles from the Quantock Hills, an area designated as one of outstanding natural beauty.
For the outdoor enthusiast there are an abundance of footpaths, cycle trails and bridle ways to enjoy such as Exmoor National Park and the South West Coast Path. For walkers of the Coleridge Way, we are happy to offer you luggage transfers and pick-ups from other destinations for a small fee.
Travel West on the M4 to junction 20. Head South West on the M5 until junction 23 where you exit the motorway. Go around the roundabout taking the 2nd exit on your left. Travel 700 yards down a dual carriageway to another roundabout. Go left signposted A38 North Bridgewater. Go straight over the next 2 roundabouts and as you approach the first set of traffic lights get into the middle of road and turn right. The road is signposted A39 Minehead. Continue along this road for approximately 17 miles. As you come into Williton you'll go over a railway bridge. Stay on this road for about a ¼ mile until you see the funeral home office on your left. Arden Cottage is opposite on the right hand side, set back from the road behind a hedge.
