Tricia Bailey is the proprietor of a comfortable family run B&B in the West Country. 30 Mary Road B&B offers four rooms, with your choice of breakfast and special diets catered for. Children are welcome, but sorry, no pets and no smoking. The rooms are comfortably furnished and nicely decorated, with a cosy dining room in the conservatory overlooking the garden which in the summer is carpeted in flowers. There is also a patio section where guests can sit and even have breakfast if the weather permits.
30 Mary Road B&B, is only 10 minutes walk from Wells High Street, making it a perfect base for exploring the West Country. Wells Cathedral is a beautiful place to start, an architectural triumph begun in 1180. Next door is the Bishops Palace where the famous swans on the surrounding moat, ring a bell for food. The market place is a focal point of this town and markets are held twice weekly on Wednesday and Saturday.The B&B is only 2 miles from Wookey Hole Caves, and a short drive to Cheddar Gorge - a perfect place to explore with kids.
There are a total of 4 rooms. Two single and two double. One single and one double are en-suite and the others share a bathroom. a seperate toilet is on the upper floor. All are centrally heated and have digital TV. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino and biscuits are provided. Three of the rooms have views to the cathedral and on a good day you can also see Glastonbury Tor.
