About this Guest House

Situated in the historic town of Thorne, popular for its markets, this guest house is the ideal place to rest your head during your stay in the town. Whether you're a contractor, a family on a relaxing week away, or in town on business, we can cater for all needs and offer great facilities and friendly service.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Thorne Central Guest House provides comfortable en- suite bedrooms for every need- there are 4 single bedrooms, 3 twin bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, 1 triple bedroom and 1 family room.

In every room, guests are provided with tea and coffee making facilities, and a television. The en- suite bathrooms have a shower, wc and hand basin.


Breakfast is served in our dining room between 7-9am on weekdays, and 8-10am on weekends. Enjoy a full English breakfast with bacon, egg, sausages, beans, tomatoes and toast. There's also cereal, juice, tea and coffee available.

Other Things to Note

We have a private onsite car park that can accommodate 6 vehicles, and is operated on a first come, first served basis. There is also a free car park just 50 yards away. WiFi. We can provide cots and highchairs for young families.

Check in from 3-10pm. Check out by 10am. Strictly no smoking.

Thorne Central Guest House is conveniently located in the historic Market Town of Thorne, just 11 miles from Doncaster.

The guest house itself is just a short stroll from shops and amenities in the centre of Thorne, with a great butchers and a market held on 4 days of the week.

Thorne is also popular with anglers, and is renowned for hosting some of the biggest events on the fishing calendar. The Delves Fishponds are within walking from the guest house, and is home to the Thorne & District Angling Association. There's more fishing to be had on the banks of Stainforth and Keadby canal.
