A beautiful Victorian villa with many original features, the three star rated Ashleigh House in Torquay offers quality guest accommodation just a short stroll from the town's bustling harbour and other attractions.
Ashleigh House offers a choice of elegant en-suite guest rooms including double, twin and family rooms and a large family room with separate, private, bathroom.
All rooms are comfortably furnished, clean and in good order and are complete with colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities and irons and hair dryers are available. Most rooms have a view across Torquay town and across to the Moors. Bed linen and towels are changed regularly and the rooms cleaned daily.
Our delicious breakfasts are served every day between 8.30am and 9.30am in Ashleigh House's elegant dining room, and guests can choose from a home cooked full English breakfast cooked to order, or alternatively a selection of continental options.
We have a charming resident's lounge where you are welcome to relax and watch television after a day's exploration or you can take a glass of wine into the front garden and sit in the evening sun.
We have ample, safe roadside parking but many choose to leave the car as everything is so close. Dogs and children are welcome at Ashleigh House. And, as everywhere else, the house is strictly non smoking throughout. We offer a laundry service and an ironing board is available. Guests have their own key and there is no time limit to return.
This character Torquay B&B is close to the town centre and its collection of unique shops and quality restaurants, Sea Life Centre, continental style cafe bars, theatres and nightclubs.
The harbour, shops, restaurants, local beauty spots and beautiful walks are all just a short stroll away.
When you reach Torquay, head towards the sea front. Turn left and go past the Princess Theatre. At the roundabout turn left and go past amusement arcades and shops.
At the next roundabout, again turn left and continue to the traffic lights. Turn right into Meadfoot Road. Look out for the Lincombe Hall Hotel on your left and afterwards turn immediately right into Meadfoot Land. We are the second house on the left.
