Nestled in the centre of the charming village of Lamlash and situated on the shore looking across Lamlash Bay to the Holy Isle, we may well be the most beautiful location on Arran! Our traditional Scottish hotel, with its gables and whitewashed walls has recently been refurbished in a fresh style which compliments the age of the building and its island location. The Glenisle Hotel is one of the oldest hotels on the island and therefore is full of character and charm. Sit and enjoy the sea views with a coffee or glass of wine in our stunning walled garden or terrace. If it's a bit chilly outside, relax with a glass of Arran whisky in our cosy snug. The snug features exposed sandstone walls and a large, original fireplace. Our resident's lounge is the perfect place to unwind in after a busy day. Snuggle up in the comfy chairs, browse the book and games collection or enjoy the beautiful views out of the window. The Glenisle Restaurant is popular with locals and visitors alike for its excellent cuisine, relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. Our menu focuses on modern classics made from fresh, local ingredients and is constantly changing to reflect the seasonal availability of different produce. We have an on-going commitment to keep Arran green and we do as much as possible to maintain Arran's natural beauty.
