About this Bed and Breakfast

Irene and Terry invite you to stay in a true Scottish home from home. The unique Wyvis Bed & Breakfast in Tillicoultry was once a Victorian mill workers cottage, dating back to 1845. Now it's a five star, award-winning guest house with spacious bedrooms and a seamless blend of modern and antique furnishings.

The guest house has received a Taste Our Best award from Visit Scotland, and Cyclists Welcome and Walkers Welcome awards.

Breakfast

Great pride is taken in preparing the most important meal of the day. Only the best local and Scottish ingredients are used, and it's always cooked to order.

Help yourself to the breakfast buffet: cereals, fruit juices, homemade granola, homemade yoghurt and fresh fruit compote, and Scottish porridge. Then choose from a traditional cooked Scottish breakfast or free range scrambled eggs served on slices of Scottish Islands Oak smoked salmon. There's also smoked haddock with poached eggs. Alternatively, you could have the homemade pate of the day or a cheese board.

Vegetarians, Coeliacs and other special diets catered for.  Please ask when booking.

Other Facilities

Wyvis's guest lounges are located on the ground floor. Here you can read and relax, enjoy a complimentary drink, play board games, watch TV or enjoy the vast Netflix library on the TV in the main lounge.

Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout.

Parking is available.

Special to Wyvis Bed & Breakfast

Irene's legendary afternoon tea is complimentary and served in the dining room which overlooks the mature garden, or the guest lounge. There's a selection of cake, biscuits, tray bakes and cream teas to sample. It's all homemade and quality always comes first.
