We are a mere 10 minute walk from York city centre with its many attractions, heritage sites, shopping and dining quarters. York Racecourse, York Minster, the York Castle Museum, Ghost Tours and York Art Gallery are all within easy reach.
Visitors arriving by car - from the York Bypass exit at the A19 Thirsk road which heads into York city centre via Shipton Road (following signs for Rawcliffe and Clifton). Continue along this road towards the centre for 2 miles then take a left turn on to Bootham Crescent just opposite The Grange Hotel.
Walking from York Train Station - take a left turn when you exit the station and follow the bar walls round onto Museum Street. Continue walking over Lendal Bridge towards the Minster. Take a left at the traffic lights with St Leonards Place, then left again at Bootham bar traffic lights on to Bootham. Continue walking along Bootham until you reach Bootham Crescent.
