A warm welcome awaits at the Monkgate Guest House in York city centre. Originally three 18th century cottages, our B&B has been converted to provide cost Grade II listed accommodation within easy reach of attractions, restaurants, bars and York's beautiful parks. Please book online if you'd like to visit.
We have a selection of single and double en-suite rooms as well as rooms with private bathrooms. We're a family-friendly B&B and we have a lovely family room stocked with games, toys and teddies. Our family room has a double bed in one room, an adjoining twin room and an en-suite shower room as well as facilities including a children's step, a small toilet seat, low coat hooks and a travel cot. We've also provided a TV and DVD player, a CD player and a children's table with small chairs, as well as a folder full of information about local child-friendly restaurants, family shops and attractions that the kids will enjoy. Please note that we serve a wide selection of breakfasts and have a children's menu, but that we'll also be happy to cater to any child's specific dietary requirements by arrangement.
