Farndale is a family-run cottage in Pickering, only a five minute walk from the town centre. Graded four stars by Visit Britain, the cottage has also received a Gold Award and it's perfect for a couple's Yorkshire getaway. The property has real character and charm, from its exposed wooden beams to the wood burning stove. It has a level 2 mobility rating and no steps - a range of accessible equipment is also available.
In the open plan living area is a beamed lounge with a wood burning stove, sofas, a 32" LCD TV with DVD player, and a hi-fi. There's also a light oak dining table facing the large bay window. The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, electric cooker and ceramic hob. All your essential cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware are provided.
Farndale sleeps two people in the master bedroom, which is incredibly spacious. The bed can either be arranged as a super king double or as two single. A cot can also be accommodated.
The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom featuring a spacious walk-in shower.
Garden area with a dedicated patio, table, chairs, sun umbrella and barbeque is available.
Plenty of off-road parking is available in the private courtyard.
The cottage is contained on one level and doesn't feature any steps. With wide doors, a walk-in shower and more, it's been given a level 2 mobility rating. Provided for guests is a wheelchair, shower stool and a toilet seat raiser.
Arrival time is 3pm and the departure time is 10am.
