Tastefully converted from farm buildings dating back to the 1800s, Skelder Farm have three warm and cosy holiday cottages for families and couples. The surrounding area has quiet roads and moorland tracks for walkers and cyclists to pursue a bit of adventure. The cottages are on the edge of Commondale in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. You’re only 20 minutes’ drive away from the sandy beaches of the North Yorkshire Heritage Coastline. Private parking is provided and free Wi-Fi is included
The cottages at Skelder Farm are arranged around a courtyard and there’s a choice of the three bedroom Moorview, the two bedroom Quarry or the one bed Stable Cottage, sleeping five, four and two respectively. Each cottage has a living and dining area with Freeview TV, radio/CD player, beamed ceiling, exposed stone work and wood burning stove. Bathrooms have power showers and kitchens are fully-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine.
Bed linen and towels are provided. A starter pack of logs for the stove can be purchased for £2.50 and a small, well behaved can stay with you for just £10 per week. If you fancy a bit of al fresco dining, garden furniture and a barbeque are available on request. All three cottages have access to a fully equipped fitness room, putting green and croquet lawn.
