Characterful features include exposed beams, a charming lounge with wood burner stove, well equipped kitchen with range-style cooker, house bathroom with traditional roll top bath and a lovely private garden. Beautiful walks on the nearby Yorkshire Dales can be found a short drive away and the cottage is also set close to scenic walks along the Cumbrian coast or around famous Lake Windermere.
The accommodation at Warth House includes a large living/ dining room with underfloor heating, two leather sofas, a large plasma TV, DVD player, CD player and bespoke dining suite seating ten people. The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped with an American-style fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, electric ovens, gas hob, small appliances and the utility houses the laundry facilities and downstairs WC. French doors lead out into the garden and both the kitchen and living/ dining room offer rural country views. There are four bedrooms which are well equipped with a 22" TV, DVD player, blackout blinds and the master double bedroom has dual aspect windows, a king size bed and ensuite facility. There is a further double room with ensuite, a twin bedroom and the house bathroom on the first floor. The fourth bedroom which has three single beds is located on the second floor in the eaves and enjoys access to its own ensuite facility. To the exterior, there is a garden with gravelled area, seating, barbecue plus a grassed area with ten foot trampoline and goal posts.
Families are very welcome with a large fire guard, two stair gates, a travel cot and high chair all provided. All heating charges, linen, towels and wood/ coal supplies for the fire are included in the rental price so no hidden charges. Limited access to a members only leisure club with pool and gym is provided. The changeover day for the cottage is Friday.
The property has underfloor heating to the ground floor, radiators throughout the rest of the house and the water is heated by solar panels topped up by an oil fired boiler.
