The property was once the home of Coniston Hall's wheelwright, and is ideal for family groups containing a games room with a Wii, table football, a big comfy sofa and a Playstation. Outside is an elevated walled terrace with ample furniture, a BBQ and spectacular lake and mountain views. Parking for two cars is onsite.
Accommodating 2 to 6 guests, the cottage has 3 bedrooms on the first floor including a master king-size double with a pine bed, a super king-size double or twin if preferred and a cosy single, with an extra single guest bed if needed. Both king-size bedrooms feature pretty window seats with fell views and a bathroom with bath, wc and shower is also on the first floor. Ground floor living space includes a porch and hallway into a spacious living room with 3 big sofas, old oak beams, a cosy woodburner and modern facilities including a flat screen HD TV with Sky Sports plus a DVD.
A ground floor kitchen with dining area contains an Aga cooker and an electric cooker, a ceramic hob, a microwave and in a utility area - a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and a fridge/freezer. A downstairs cloakroom with wc is also available and the porch offers ample space for drying off outdoor clothing. WiFi is inclusive, and you're just a 5 minute stroll from the nearest pub. A choice of walks into the Coniston Fells are direct from your door. All electric, gas central heating and bed linen is inclusive, with towels, a cot and high chair all available to hire.
