    About this Holiday Cottage

    Rose View is a detached bungalow, set on the edge of the small Somerset village of Sutton Mallett, near Bridgwater, close to the Somerset Levels, and can sleep four people. This all ground floor cottage has a king-size double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for two cars, lockable bike storage and an enclosed, lawned garden and patio with furniture. Rose View is a wonderful holiday base.

    All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin (zip/link, can be double on request). Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with woodburner.

    Oil central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage. Enclosed lawned garden to front, rear and side with patio and furniture. Three well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 2 miles. Note: There is an unfenced ditch within the garden which occasionally holds water, children to be supervised.

    Around and About

    The town of Bridgwater has plenty to interest visitors including shopping, historic buildings and a excellent selection of restaurants and pubs. Also an annual Bridgwater Illuminated Carnival takes place in November. Cheddar is only a few miles away as is Glastonbury, home of King Arthur and pop festivals. The fascinating wetland areas surrounding Bridgwater are internationally renowned for wildfowl and wading birds. Nearby Shapwick Heath has an excellent wetland nature reserve.

    Somerset offers 3 areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Quantock, Mendip and Blackdown Hills. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmers' market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury.
