About this Holiday Cottage

Lavender Cottage is a well-appointed end-terrace holiday cottage, set in the coastal village of Ferryside and can sleep six people. The cottage has a king-size double bedroom, a double bedroom, a room with adult bunks, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and woodburner. Outside there is roadside parking outside of the property for one car, plus there is free parking in a car park, just two minutes’ walk away. There is also an enclosed patio with furniture and a barbecue and also an enclosed front courtyard. Lavender Cottage is a lovely cottage for your break away.


Three bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x double, 1 x adult bunks. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and woodburner.

Oil central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent, please bring own beach towels. Travel cot and highchair. Roadside parking for 1 car outside property, plus free parking in car park 2 mins walk away. Enclosed patio with decking and furniture plus enclosed front courtyard. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk. Note: Due to the property being next to a road, some traffic noise may be experienced.

Around and About

The pretty coastal village of Ferryside is a thriving community that still retains its village atmosphere. With a wonderful sandy beach, a general store, cafe, Post Office and pub, the village has a full range of amenities for visitors. Regular trains stop in the village providing easy access to Camarthen, Pembrey or Llanelli and the wide range of attractions in the region. The busy market town of Camarthen has plenty of shops, tea-rooms, restaurants and pubs to choose from while a visit to Pembrey Country Park, with its sandy beach, toboggan run and dry ski slope, is a great day out for all the family. There are castles, craft centres and mills across the landscape as well as the mysterious Merlin's Hill Centre, shrouded in myth and legend and rich in wildlife. With walks from the doorstep and the cycle trail at the Millennium Coastal Path close by, this is a perfect a base for a relaxing or an active holiday for the whole family.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
