About this Holiday Cottage

Yr Hen Efail is a semi-detached cottage in the peaceful village of Abergorlech near to Llandeilo in South Wales. The cottage sleeps two people and has one double bedroom, an additional single folding bed and a family shower room. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside is roadside parking and a seating area with outdoor furniture. Formerly the village smithy, Yr Hen Efail is a characterful cottage in a beautiful part of South Wales.

One double bedroom with additional single folding bed on request. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and woodburner.

Oil central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Additional fuel available to purchase locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking outside cottage or in Abergorlech Trail car park 50 yards away. Lawned area with furniture next to open stream 10 yards from cottage. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 2 mins walk. Note: Sloping ceilings in the bedroom. Note: Garden is unfenced and bordered by River Gorlech and Forestry Commission land, children and pets to be supervised. Note: Max. 2 guests, with single folding bed available on request and is to be used for flexibility only.

Around and About

The market town of Llandeilo in picturesque Carmarthenshire is situated on a hill above the River Tywi. The town offers unusual gift shops, eating places and pubs, as well as the medieval Dinefwr and Carreg Cennen Castles. Close by is the scenic Brecon Beacons National Park and the sandy beaches and cliff walks of the Gower Peninsula are within easy reach.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
