Outside there is off road parking for one car, private patios and shared use of lawned areas. Apple Tree Cottage is an ideal romantic base for walks, watersports and visiting the many attractions that can be found in the area.

The small village of Troutbeck Bridge is situated between Windermere and Ambleside in the Lake District National Park. The village offers a leisure centre and a thriving and very popular local pub, serving real ales and fine food, plus Ambleside and Windermere offer shops, pubs and cafes.
