Peelers Cottage has walks from the door along with three good pubs in the village, and with the Moors and coast within an easy drive, makes a wonderful year-round base.

The conservation village of Osmotherley lies within the National Park, and has three good pubs, a shop, and plenty of walks from the door. There are market towns and historic cities within easy reach, as well as wonderful countryside and the glorious coastline.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
