About this Holiday Cottage

Mellondale Cottage is a lovely ground floor cottage in Mellon Charles. With two en-suite bedrooms, a double and a twin, it sleeps four comfortably. There is also an open plan living area, with a kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area and a sitting area. The cottage has wonderful views, and outside there is off road parking and a front patio and lawned garden. Mellondale Cottage is in a great position for exploring the Scottish Highlands, or equally, for relaxing and enjoying the fantastic views.


All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite bath, shower over, basin and WC, 1 x twin with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. Utility.

Around and About

Aultbea is a village in Wester-Ross, on the shores of Loch Ewe, and an ideal base for enjoying the North-West Highlands. Inverewe Gardens, 5 miles away, is a world famous walled garden, known for its superb wildlife and stunning views. Gruinard Bay, close to Aultbea, is a beautiful spot with pinky-red sand and an impressive mountainous backdrop. Facilities in Aultbea include two hotels and a shop, the wonderful broad sands on the beach at Mellon Udrigle are close by, and the wildlife that inhabits the area includes seals and otters.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
