    About this Holiday Cottage

    Little Ash is a single-storey cottage attached to the owners' riverside home, in a tranquil rural setting by the river in Ashreigney, a few miles from Chulmleigh. The cottage has a double bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside is off road parking for one car, a private patio with furniture and shared use of areas of the owners' waterside grounds. Little Ash offers a wonderful opportunity for a restful break in stunning rural surroundings, or the chance to explore the north and south coasts of Devon, Exeter and more.


    All ground floor. One double bedroom. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area.

    Gas central heating. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for one car. Private front patio with furniture plus use of areas of owners' garden. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 miles. Note: Garden leads down to stream and pony paddocks, children must be supervised. Note: There is poor mobile phone coverage in the area, with the exception of Vodafone via a booster box.

    Around and About

    Chulmleigh is an attractive Devon village with thatched cottage, impressive church, cobbled lanes and a welcoming inn. Chulmleigh is ideally placed for both the north and south coasts, the shops and restaurants of Exeter, and plenty of wonderful walking, fishing and birdwatching.

    Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
