The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and sitting room with woodburning stove. The Old Grainstore is an ideal holiday home for exploring the area, with something for everyone to enjoy from the Lake District National Park to market towns and wonderful natural attractions.

The village of Bolton Low Houses offers a good pub serving food. The market town of Wigton and the village of Caldbeck are nearby. The area offers much to see and do and includes the towns of Penrith and Keswick, the cathedral city of Carlisle, Derwentwater and Lake Bassenthwaite.
