The cottage sleeps fourteen people and has three first floor double bedrooms, one with en-suite, two first floor twin bedrooms, one with en-suite and one second floor twin bedroom with an en-suite. There is also a main bathroom on the first floor. On the ground floor there are a large fitted kitchen with a dining area, a spacious sitting room with a woodburner, a second sitting room/library with a sofa bed and a separate indoor heated swimming pool with a motorised cover. Outside the cottage has ample off road parking and a rear lawned garden and patio with furniture and a BBQ and access to 40 acres of woodland and grounds. With beautiful surroundings to discover and the popular, historic city of York nearby, The Trainer's House is a fantastic setting for a break at any time of year.

The town of Malton has many interesting buildings including the old Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms. A weekly market is still held in the town, as well as livestock and farmers' markets. The Yorkshire Moors are to the north, and the Yorkshire Wolds are to the south, making it excellent country for walkers and cyclists.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
