About this Holiday Cottage

Baker's Cottage is a detached, stone built cottage in the coastal village of Portknockie in north east Scotland. This cottage sleeps seven people in three bedrooms, consisting of one ground floor king-size double, one double and one twin, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with breakfast table, dining room with comfy seating, a sitting room with woodburning stove and a first floor snug with single bed. Outside there is off road parking for one car and an enclosed front garden with furniture. Baker's Cottage is an ideal retreat for a family who wish to explore this part of Scotland.


Three bedrooms: 1 x ground floor king-size double, 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Fitted kitchen with breakfast table (seats 4). Dining room (seats 6) with comfy seating (seats 2). Sitting room with woodburning stove. First floor snug (seats 2) with single bed and TV with Freeview.

Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, wine cooler, washing machine, dishwasher, 3 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, stereo, iPod dock, WiFi, PlayStation 3 with games, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Extra fuel for woodburning stove available on an honesty box basis. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Enclosed front garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: The staircase leading up to the snug is steep, care should be taken.

Portknockie is a popular coastal village situated on a stunning, cliff top position overlooking a natural harbour on the Moray Firth Coast. Close by is the town of Cullen and the city of Elgin is further a field.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
