The Loft is a lovely romantic retreat for those that wish to explore the towns, villages and countryside in and around the North York Moors.

The scattered village of Staintondale is situated within the North Yorkshire Moors midway between the fishing town of Whitby, and the Spa town of Scarborough. The Staintondale Shire Horse Farm is just down the road, plus there is a network of footpaths and bridleways in the village.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
