The garden is made up of tiered patio levels with furniture and a BBQ. Off road parking is available for one car. With the lovely countryside of the national park close by, and the east coast resorts within driving distance, The Cottage makes a good family base from which to explore both coast and country.

Ampleforth is close to the North York Moors National Park, and is home to two pubs, a fish and chip shop and shop. Helmsley market town is 5 miles away and the National Park is close by offering great scenic walking and cycling. Within easy driving distance are Pickering and the East Coast resorts such as Scarborough.
