About this Holiday Cottage

The Cottage is a large, semi-detached cottage located in the village of Tideswell in the Peak District. The cottage can sleep eight people in four bedrooms - one ground floor double, two doubles and one twin. There is a ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC and a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The living accommodation comprises a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with dining area and a multi-fuel stove. Outside there is off road parking and roadside parking available, both on a first come, first served basis. With the amenities of Tideswell on the doorstep and the Spa town of Buxton 9 miles away, The Cottage makes a great base for a year-round break.


Four bedrooms: 1 x ground floor double, 2 x double, 1 x twin. Cot/wardrobe room. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with multi-fuel stove and dining area with woodburner-style gas stove.

Off road parking for 1 car and roadside parking available, both on first come, first served basis. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop next door, pub 2 mins walk.

Around and About

Tideswell is a village in the heart of the Peak District National Park, famous for its church dedicated to St John the Baptist, known as 'The Cathedral of the Peak'. It is also home to good pubs and restaurants. Great walking is available for all abilities nearby with rugged northern peaks and gentle hills and dales in the south. Within easy reach are Mam Tor, Castleton and the Spa town of Buxton.

The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
