Sully Cottage is a beautifully renovated 300 year old cottage at Ruswarp village near Whitby. The property is brimming with traditional and period features including an original winding stairway, antique furnishings, a low beamed ceiling on the ground floor, a cosy fireplace and 'sun trap' courtyard garden with seating.
This is one of five cottages and sits adjacent to Croft Cottage, just across the road from our main Croft Farm complex. Village amenities including independent shops, a fine inn, rail/ bus links to Whitby and boating on the River Esk are all within walking distance.
Ground floor living space is open plan with wooden oak flooring and a low beamed ceiling. A fully fitted kitchen is at the far end containing an electric oven, a washer/ dryer, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge with freezer box. The traditionally furnished sitting room area has a coal effect gas fire, colour TV and DVD player.
The cottage sleeps 4 (2+2) guests in two first floor bedrooms including a double and a twin. Bedrooms are inter-linked and accessed via the original winding staircase. The bathroom is on the ground floor and includes a spacious walk-in shower.
On-site parking is provided and there's a courtyard garden with seating for guests to enjoy.
One well trained pet is welcome in the cottage by arrangement, but must be kept downstairs and under control at all times - please call us to discuss details.
