Banbridge House is situated in a magnificent sea-front location and we are pleased to offer comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation for the elderly or disabled. Our accommodation enjoys beautiful views over the Bristol Channel and we are also close to the wonderful sandy beach which offers wheel chair access. Assistance can be provided for days out and we have our own on site chef who can cater for any special dietary needs. Our dining room overlooks the Bristol Channel and we also offer a large lounge with a TV provided. A weekly lunch club is held in our conservatory and we provide a stimulating range of weekly and daily activities including cards, bingo, film shows, a games console, musical entertainment and seasonal parties. Guests can also relax in the large lawn garden which offers plenty of seating and we provide private parking facilities on site.
Each room is well equipped with a TV, tea/ coffee making facilities, ample storage, plenty of space for manoeuvrability and a seating area. All have been decorated and furnished to the highest standard and can accommodate scooters and wheel chairs. Other facilities include a wet room shower, Wi-Fi service and phone point. A mobile hair dresser also visits Banbridge House weekly and there is an electronic Nurse Call system fitted in all rooms and ensuites. We are situated within easy reach of local shops and public transport.
Banbridge House can provide accommodation for up to nineteen people over the age of 65 who require assistance with personal care. This includes people who require care due to dementia. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and our dedicated team consists of our Registered Manager, senior carers and carers. The majority of our staff have a minimum National Vocation Qualification of Level II in Care and the remainder will be working towards this as a minimum. We look for people who are caring, understanding and patient with a good sense of humour. All of our care staff have induction, foundation and supervised training and we provide ongoing training and assessment to maintain our exceptionally high standard of care.
