These two open plan lodges can be combined via interconnecting internal doors to sleep large groups of up to 10 guests.
Double glazing and excellent insulation makes these fabulous lodges snug and warm all year round, and modern facilities include a TV, DVD and CD player, well equipped kitchens, comfortable dining room suites, cosy bedrooms and bathrooms with showers.
The combined lodges are wheelchair accessible with living space all on one floor - ideal for our less mobile guests.
Outdoor verandas are fully fenced and ample parking is to the rear of the properties. The grounds benefit from a fenced croft area so you can relax on the decking or in the garden whilst your pets play safely close by.
Well behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement. We make a small charge for pets to cover the additional cleaning time required between guests.
As our location is only a few hundred yards away from part of the Tour de Yorkshire route 2016 and 2017 and only a few miles away from some of the Tour de France stages of 2014, we have recently added cycle storage and washing facilities for up to 10 bikes giving you the option of following part of the routes using your own bike or hiring one locally, should you want a more active holiday.
A welcome tea tray is made available to guests on arrival.
The accommodation is open all year round and available for weekend and midweek breaks as well as longer stays.
With plenty of walks and beautiful countryside surrounding the accommodation, there is never a dull moment for you, your family or your outdoor-loving pets.
The lodge shares 29 acres of private, natural, ancient oak woodland with deer, squirrels, rabbits, owls, jays and a plethora of other bird and plant life. Red kites can often be seen soaring on thermals from the nearby Harewood Estate.
Nestled on a Nidderdale hillside, between the village of Summerbridge on the river Nidd and the remarkable National Trust area of Brimham Rocks, there is plenty of freedom to wander over the many moorland and woodland tracks, making this the ideal base for walking holidays and cycling breaks. A short distance away is the spa town of Harrogate and the cathedral city of Ripon as well as a range of visitor attractions including the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey.
