Fishing is available and fishing tackle can be hired locally, you can enquire at the local pub. The property is very peaceful with a lovely patio area that overlooks the surrounding countryside.
The beaches at Bude and Widemouth Bay are a 45-minute drive away, and Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are both within a 15-minute drive, and have some fantastic tracks for walking. You will find the world-famous Eden Project a great day out for all the family, and lots of National Trust properties are nearby to explore.
The old market town of Launceston, where you can find the 13th century English Heritage castle is a must, with spectacular views, and has a number of popular shops. Tavistock is within a 20-minute drive and hosts many markets throughout the week. Tintagel and Boscastle are well worth a visit. Village shop/post office, pubs and restaurants 500 yards.
